So, I've started a blog to cover my adventures in that many-years-old MMORPG, Final Fantasy XI, where I spend a far greater percentage of my time than is reproductively recommended. The rationale is that my other blog, Max EV, is something of a serious blog describing my travails as I attempt to make my living (in RL) as an online poker player, and I didn't want to clutter that content up with unrelated fluff. However, I still feel a need to muse on my adventures in Vana'diel from time to time, and so I felt the need to create a space for that.

Having just come back from a 6 month break it feels good to be back in the game. FFXI has lasted so long for me because it existed as a nice means for me to interact with some real-life friends after moving halfway across the country, and it's helped me keep in touch with several of them after having started back up with it.
So, here's to keeping up with the happenings in Vana'diel!
